Lewis Silkin LLP, an inclusive employer and member of myGwork – the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community, is seeking an Associate to join the Core Tax, Reward & Incentives Team in London. The role focuses on employee share incentive schemes, corporate transactions, and related tax matters.

About The Role

  • Providing technical legal expertise: continually build on your knowledge and proactively improve advising skills.
  • Delivering excellent service: analyse legal information to solve problems, formulate arguments or strategies relevant to client needs, and proactively manage work with regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Building relationships: develop positive working relationships with colleagues and treat all colleagues with respect and professionalism.
  • Developing our business: maintain awareness of the firm’s goals and clients, and contribute to building and maintaining relationships with key clients and prospects.

About You

  • 0‑2 years post‑qualification experience in a commercial firm advising on structuring, implementation, and operation of employee share incentive schemes.
  • Experience advising on the impact of corporate transactions on such schemes.
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • An ambitious, proactive, commercial, responsive attitude.
  • Interest in developing marketing and business‑development skills.
  • Comfort with taking responsibility for work output and dealing directly with clients.
  • A team player keen to support and learn from others.
