AXS, part of AEG, is a global leader in ticketing technology. We’re looking for an Analytics Engineer to join our team in London. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering and business intelligence, helping translate data into trusted, usable analytics for teams across the organisation. You'll be part of our global analytics engineering function, working towards a shared analytics codebase that supports all regions and markets.
Responsibilities
- Analytics Engineering & Data Modelling: Apply engineering best practices to build well-defined, tested, documented, and reviewed data sets; design and maintain analytics layers that support real-time insights across B2C environments; define and build core data models spanning business, marketing, finance, and other domains; help plan, define, and develop models such as marketing attribution, pricing, and inventory optimisation.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Partnership: Work closely with Data Science, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and Product teams to understand the data behind key metrics; collaborate across the organisation, as well as with clients and external partners, to understand data and analysis needs; operate as part of a global function, supporting consistent analytics approaches across all markets.
- Platform & Data Integration: Identify and integrate new data sources in partnership with relevant teams; contribute to a shared analytics codebase that supports scalable and repeatable solutions.
- Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement: Work through complex data problems and contribute to practical, scalable solutions; support best practices around data quality, testing, monitoring, and governance.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with dbt.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience building analytics layers used across B2C organisations.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, ideally Snowflake.
- Experience using Git for version control.
- Solid understanding of data best practices, including hygiene, modelling, testing, and monitoring.
- Experience defining and working with core data models (business, marketing, finance, etc.).
- An approach that shows initiative, curiosity, and a focus on finding scalable solutions.
- Ability to balance multiple projects, both strategic and tactical.

Working Pattern
This role is based in our London Head Office near London Bridge station. We work 3 days in the office (Tue–Thu) and 2 days from home (Monday and Friday). We also offer flexible start and end times and welcome flexible working conversations.
