Job Description

The Analyst, Social Media plays an integral role in building Invesco’s brand in EMEA. Partnering closely with internal content, design, marketing and compliance teams, as well as agency partners, our goal is to execute best-in-class social media strategies and content while aligning to business priorities. In this fast‑paced and fluid environment, this role will be responsible for creating, organizing and prioritizing social posts across multiple platforms and thought leader accounts while promoting best practices for creating social‑first content tailored to the needs of our varied audiences, from financial professionals to institutions. You will ensure that Invesco’s brand and tone of voice are clearly articulated across our social media channels, with a focus on LinkedIn. This role will be actively involved in content and video creation, campaign management, project and process management, and social listening and reporting. Working with several cross‑functional teams provides an opportunity to build deeper relationships and knowledge of the asset management industry.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a cross‑regional team to implement Invesco’s organic social media strategy in EMEA to increase engagement with target audiences and support Invesco’s overall business objectives.
  • Assist in the creation, editing and publication of written, photo, graphic and video content on a daily basis across Invesco channels, including for employee advocacy and for key Invesco thought leaders on LinkedIn.
  • Work with the editorial team to ensure content is optimized for our social channels.
  • Maintain the social media calendar in Airtable, identify and report on scheduling overlaps/gaps.
  • Under the direction of the Manager, Social Media, work on social media campaigns including creating content, writing/editing copy, maintaining calendars using Airtable, managing inquiries through internal process tools (Aprimo), and tracking and reporting monthly metrics including followers, impressions, clicks, engagements, reach, etc.
  • Run and decipher social media listening reports.
  • Partner with Compliance to ensure all regulatory requirements are met for social media content for specific countries and EMEA‑wide, and regularly submit to the Compliance tracking system (RedOak).
  • Stay on top of social trends and platform features, digest social listening, client feedback and competitive audits to implement growth and creative opportunities on social for the Invesco brand.
  • Learn Invesco’s approach to social media strategies to engage new and existing clients and build brand reputation with key audiences and influencers.

Qualifications

  • Direct related work experience in social media with a proven track record of developing content strategy and social media programs that have demonstrated business results.
  • Knowledge of financial services or heavily regulated industry preferred.
  • Superior editorial, written and creative skills specifically developed for digital‑first platforms.
  • A passion for social‑first content creation and video production.
  • Ability to manage the process details of multiple posts on a daily basis.
  • Enthusiasm in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
  • Previous experience using social media platforms and related tools such as Hootsuite, Airtable, etc.
