London Business School invites applications for an Accounts Payable Manager to join our Finance department on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will oversee multiple company purchase ledgers, manage month-end closures, assist with bank reconciliations, and support cash-flow reporting. You will lead a team, ensuring service levels align with Finance standards and SMART objectives are met.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage, develop, and motivate team members.
- Oversee the purchase ledger and ensure accurate and timely payment processing.
- Conduct monthly supplier reconciliations.
- Manage expense processing, ensuring timely and accurate claims.
- Ensure internal and external audits pass without concern.
- Support procurement with supplier reports and other duties as required.
Ideal Candidate
- Professional qualification or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging diverse audiences.
- Significant experience in bookkeeping, accounts, and managing ledgers.
- Experience supervising an Accounts Department.

Working Conditions & Flexibility
We operate a hybrid approach. All roles require a minimum of two days on campus each week. For this role, you will be expected to be on campus 2 days per week. Core hours are 10:00-15:00. Outside these hours you may be required for meetings or collaboration based on role and customer needs. Protected Time is a flexible, one-hour slot within the week dedicated to your learning, development, wellbeing or focused, quiet work.
