Your responsibilities as a Trainee Buyer include:

  • Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
  • Raise purchase orders and track deliveries
  • Maintain procurement records and supplier databases
  • Assist supplier negotiations and cost-saving initiatives
  • Support QS and Commercial teams with admin tasks and reporting
  • Maintain records of orders, invoices, and supplier info
  • Liaise with suppliers, site teams, and internal departments
  • Assist with procurement schedules and project requirements
  • Attend site visits and supplier meetings as needed

The ideal Trainee Buyer will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
