We are supporting our long-established East Midlands accountancy client in growing their Tax team as they are now recruiting for an experienced Tax Adviser.
THE ROLE
The Tax Adviser role will be instrumental in assisting managers and directors to provide taxation advice to clients, while supporting your teams in the delivery of their work and ensuring that operational objectives are met. You will ensure compliance and quality standards are always maintained, client needs are identified, providing proactive support and advice, adhering to our client care programme and ensure client relationships are within our legislative framework, compliance, and quality standards.
This is an ideal role for someone who would like to be more involved with helping clients achieve their goals through tax planning and analysis. Prior experience in these types of planning is not necessary, the key attributes we are looking for are willingness to learn and a desire to help clients find the best solutions for them.
The advice you could expect to be involved includes the following:
- Inheritance tax planning
- Remuneration planning
- Incorporation of businesses
- Capital allowance reviews
- Capital Gains tax advice
- International tax planning
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal Tax Adviser will be able to demonstrate the following key skills and experience:
- Ideally, you will be partial or full CTA, ACA or ACCA qualifications or experience in a Tax role
- Must have UK Accounting / Practice experience
- Must have UK Private Tax compliance or Advisory experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
