This is a role for an experienced Senior Marketing Events Executive ready to take greater ownership, or an established Junior Events Manager looking to join an ambitious, collaborative and culture-first marketing team.

This includes seminars, webinars, networking events, client hospitality and internal employee events.

We are looking for an organised, confident and proactive

Senior Marketing Events Executive to take ownership of the planning and delivery of high-quality events that strengthen client relationships, create new business opportunities and enhance the Myerson brand.

The role

To help you understand the balance of the role, the approximate split of responsibilities is:

60% Event Management & Delivery

Planning, coordinating and delivering Myerson's programme of client, prospective client and professional referrer events, including seminars, webinars, networking events, roundtables, hospitality and selected corporate and internal events.

20% Event Marketing & Delegate Management

Driving registrations and attendance through targeted communications, data management and event promotion.

20% Reporting, Relationships & Development

Measuring event performance, managing suppliers and supporting the development of new event concepts and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • 1. Event Planning & Delivery
  • Take ownership of the planning and delivery of a varied programme of events including seminars, webinars, conferences, roundtables, networking events, client hospitality, corporate functions and internal employee events, with responsibility for managing event budgets, monitoring spend and assessing performance against agreed objectives and ROI.
  • Manage events from initial brief through to delivery and post-event evaluation, developing clear event plans, timelines, budgets and run sheets.
  • Source and manage venues, caterers, AV providers, creative, photographers and other external suppliers, ensuring events are delivered to a consistently high standard.
  • Coordinate speakers, internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring everyone is fully briefed ahead of each event providing them with support.
  • Manage delegate registration, event materials, signage, name badges, dietary requirements and other event logistics.
  • Attend events and act as a key point of contact for clients, delegates, speakers, Partners and suppliers.
  • Ensure events run smoothly on the day, confidently resolving issues as they arise.
  • Manage webinars and hybrid events using platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
  • 2. Event Marketing & Delegate Engagement
  • Work closely with the wider Marketing team to develop effective promotional plans that maximise awareness, registrations and attendance.
  • Coordinate event invitations and reminder communications, ensuring the right audiences are targeted.
  • Work with the Digital and Communications teams on email campaigns, website content, social media activity and other promotional materials.
  • Develop engaging event descriptions and promotional copy that clearly communicate why clients and contacts should attend.
  • Identify opportunities to improve registration, attendance and engagement through testing and analysis.
  • Coordinate post-event communications and follow‑up activity to help convert engagement into meaningful client and business development opportunities.
  • 3. Data, CRM & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate event and delegate information with the firm's CRM and data teams.
  • Work with the Marketing team, Fee Earning and Legal PA teams to ensure contact data is accurate, appropriately segmented and kept up to date.
  • Produce targeted delegate and invitation lists for events and campaigns.
  • Track registrations, attendance, cancellations and engagement across the event programme.
  • Collect and analyse delegate feedback to identify improvements and future opportunities.
  • Report on event performance using measures including registrations, attendance, engagement, target audience representation, cost and subsequent business development activity.
  • Help the Marketing and Business Development teams develop a clearer understanding of event ROI and identify which events and formats deliver the greatest commercial value.
  • 4. Event Programme Development
  • Proactively identify new event concepts, venues, formats and partnership opportunities.
  • Work with lawyers and department heads to develop events that respond to client needs, market developments and commercial priorities.
  • Undertake competitor and market research to understand what other professional services firms are doing and identify opportunities for Myerson to differentiate itself sharing the feedback regularly with shareholders.
  • Support the development of strategic partnerships, sponsorships and external networking opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with venues, suppliers and event partners to improve quality and value.
  • Contribute ideas to continually improve the attendee experience and ensure Myerson events are engaging, professional and memorable.
  • 5. Wider Marketing Support
  • Coordinate event-related creative materials with internal colleagues, designers and external agencies.
  • Support client engagement initiatives, sponsorship activity and other relationship‑building programmes.
  • Assist with presentations, proposals and award submissions where events or client engagement activity is relevant.
  • Work collaboratively across the Marketing and Business Development teams on wider campaigns and projects where required.
  • Ensure all activity reflects Myerson's brand, values and relevant compliance requirements.
  • Support all internal events within the firm providing your expertise and supporting colleagues where possible.
