Our highly respected Family department at Myerson has gone from strength to strength in recent years and is looking to add another senior member to the team.

The role will involve providing the highest quality advice across a range of privately funded family law matters and disputes, including divorce and financial remedy issues, children and injunction matters, surrogacy and fertility issues, cohabitee disputes and pre‑ and post‑nuptial agreements.

We are looking for an established Partner who is capable of taking on a caseload of varied family law matters, generating new business for the department and the firm, collaborating with the team, and contributing to the growth and development of the department. The successful candidate will also play a key role in supervising junior members, assisting them with day‑to‑day enquiries and caseload management.

Qualifications

  • Established Family Partner with strong private family law experience from a national or top‑tier regional firm.
  • Good academic background and training in privately funded family work, with a proven track record of excellent all‑round private family law experience.
  • Experience with a high‑net‑worth client base and regularly handling privately paying family law matters.
  • Ability to respond to clients' urgent requirements while maintaining a proper work/life balance and communicating effectively with clients, colleagues and other departments.
