About the role
Could you coach, mentor and support apprentices to achieve the best they can be? Are you motivated to make a meaningful difference to the lives, development and future careers of learners? As a Progress Coach (Arboriculture), you will play a key role in supporting Level 2 Arborist apprentices from initial enrolment through to successful End Point Assessment. Working closely with apprentices, employers and colleagues across the Apprenticeship & Workforce Development team, you will help ensure a high‑quality apprenticeship experience that enables learners to thrive both personally and professionally.
A significant part of the role involves supporting apprentices’ wider personal development, behaviours and attitudes, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and succeed in the workplace. You will work collaboratively with work‑based tutors, employer services, English and maths teams, ALS and safeguarding colleagues to provide joined‑up, holistic support, particularly for apprentices identified as being at risk.
This is a varied and rewarding role, suited to someone who is organised, proactive and passionate about apprenticeship success, with the confidence to work independently across the North West while maintaining strong professional relationships and high standards.
