About the role

Are you passionate about developing golfers and inspiring the next generation of student-athletes? Do you have the vision and leadership skills to drive performance, participation and success within a high-performing golf programme? We are seeking an exceptional Golf Head Coach to lead and develop our Golf Programme and Academy, supporting talented student-athletes to achieve their full potential both academically and within the sport. This is a unique opportunity to shape one of the UK's most ambitious golf education and performance programmes, working within a nationally recognised college and alongside key industry partners.

As Golf Head Coach, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for the Golf Academy, overseeing all aspects of coaching, player development, competition and programme delivery. You will create and implement a high-performance environment that supports the technical, tactical, physical and psychological development of golfers, while ensuring students benefit from an outstanding educational experience.

Working closely with learners, parents, colleagues, golf clubs, governing bodies and industry partners, you will build strong relationships that enhance progression opportunities and strengthen the reputation of the programme. You will also lead on recruitment, performance monitoring, quality assurance and the ongoing development of the golf curriculum, ensuring it remains innovative, relevant and aligned with industry best practice.

The successful candidate will play a central role in preparing and supporting teams and individuals for competition, overseeing participation in AoC and BUCS fixtures, and helping golfers progress into higher levels of competition, higher education and careers within the golf industry. At the same time, you will promote a culture of professionalism, wellbeing, safeguarding and excellence throughout the programme.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced golf coach and educator to make a significant impact on learner development, programme growth and sporting success within one of the UK's leading land-based and sports colleges. If you are ready to lead, inspire and develop the next generation of golfers, we'd love to hear from you.
