We specialise in the design and manufacture of ground-breaking renewable-energy technology products.
Responsibilities
- Preparation and presentation of Monthly Management Accounts, including all journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations for the subsidiaries, including GB.
- Work closely with subsidiaries and be the finance point of contact.
- Oversee and manage the year-end statutory accounts preparation and audit for overseas entities and GB.
- Production and analysis of P&L, Balance sheet, KPIs and working capital.
- Prepare monthly KPIs and provide in-depth analysis of variances and trends.
- Provide necessary data for site financial performance, including financial plan and forecasts, variance analysis and financial reviews.
- Provide insightful analysis of the site financial performance, enabling clear explanation and demonstration of production target setting to the senior management team.
- Development and documentation of financial processes and procedures, and monitoring of compliance across the business.
- Actively support the validity of the financial policies and procedures.
- Preparation of statutory returns, such as ONS forms.
- Support as and when necessary, in the yearly and half year audits.
- Support in annual budget.
- Support in re-forecasts.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
- Broad all-round experience, including transactional finance, team management, VAT, systems.
- Demonstrable experience of working in a Group or multi-entity environment.
- Strong commercial acumen, desire to truly understand the numbers.
- Have strong interpersonal skills; able to communicate at all levels and across the business.
- Be pro-active and with a can-do attitude and able to handle tasks and drive results without close supervision.
- A team player who actively supports others around them but also with the ability to work independently.
