Role Summary

Reporting into the Head of Warehouse & Logistics, the Warehouse Supervisor will ensure the smooth running of our warehouse, this includes personnel, safety, training, equipment, stock management, waste management, work location cleanliness and reports all of which ensure we deliver a first‑class service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure team safety.
  • Ensure the team follow operating procedures and Identify areas of improvement and innovate or adjust existing work procedures and practices.
  • Communicate job expectations and coach your team.
  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods.
  • Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and team performance.
  • Organise, maintain inventory rotation and warehouse housekeeping.
  • Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy.
  • Determine staffing levels and assign workload.
  • Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilise reports to show the warehouse status.
  • Determine and track the most important warehouse KPIs.
  • Order new supplies in a timely manner.
  • Track expenses related to fuel, storage, and truck maintenance
  • Ensure all warehouse equipment is functional, maintained and logged.
  • Communicate and coordinate activities with other departments.
  • Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Experienced in a supervisor role in manufacturing or warehouse.
  • Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques.
  • Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency.
  • Ability to input, retrieve and analyse data.
  • Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • FLT licence and experience required.
