We're hiring a full time Teaching Assistant for our UK based English teaching team!
About The Role
- Available to both current university students and those on a gap year.
- Role involves collaborating closely with teachers to assist with course development, including creation of homework questions, converting lesson slides to workbooks and storing video solutions.
- Engages in the development of educational content and tools.
- This is a full time hybrid role based in London, with 2-3 days a week in the office.
Responsibilities
- Transforming lessons into workbooks for student use.
- Generating homework questions to complement our English teachers' lessons.
- Participating in the live chat of livestreamed English lessons to provide subject-related responses to student questions as well as adherence to MyEdSpace codes of conduct.
- Archiving teachers' video solutions post-filming.
- Updating the online platform for easy student access before lessons.
Who We're Seeking
- Grade A*/A at A-Level in a humanities subject and a grade 9/8 at GCSE in English Literature and English Language.
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators and adapt to curriculum needs.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Committed, flexible, and eager to engage in educational content development.
- Ability to work 5 days a week with a flexible working pattern that involves evening work on some days to support lesson moderation.
