Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Back End Web Developer to join our innovative team in Manchester, UK. In this role, you will handle server-side application logic and integration, ensuring our web applications\’ back end is robust, efficient, and scalable. You will work closely with front-end developers and other team members to deliver seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain server-side applications and APIs using PHP, Node.js, or other back-end technologies.
2. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
3. Design and implement database schemas that represent and support business processes.
4. Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
5. Conduct code reviews and maintain version control using Git.
6. Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
7. Stay updated with the latest back-end development trends and technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Back End Developer, with a strong portfolio of web applications.
2. Proficiency in server-side programming languages, particularly PHP (Laravel or Symfony experience is a plus).
3. Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
4. Experience with RESTful APIs and web services integration.
5. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
