Your future, as a Technical Project Manager at mydentist, is a full-time position initially up to a 24-month fixed-term contract to support the continued growth projects in the business. This can be a flexible hybrid role, ideally based in our Support Centre in Kearsley (M26 1GG) once a week, as well as ad hoc practice visits as per role requirements. When based in the Support Centre, you will benefit from free onsite parking, and Kearsley train station is just a short walk away.

The Technical Project Manager will deliver business value through technology and data initiatives within the Tech & Data portfolio, including systems, platforms and data solutions aligned to strategic priorities.

Your future, your role:

As a Technical Project Manager, you’ll be:

  • Maintaining a portfolio of technology and data projects that deliver strategic business benefits
  • Developing and maintaining project plans, milestones and performance measures
  • Working closely with stakeholders across business, technology and data teams
  • Delivering technology projects across platforms, systems and internal products
  • Working with engineering, data and architecture teams to deliver scalable solutions
  • Coordinating deployments and releases across systems and platforms
  • Translating business requirements into clear delivery plans and outcomes
  • Applying best practice delivery methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery

You will have:

  • Project management qualification or equivalent practical delivery experience. Agile, Scrum or PRINCE2 certification
  • Experience delivering technology, IT or data projects
  • Experience managing multiple initiatives within a portfolio
  • Experience working in cross-functional delivery teams
  • Experience in a multi-site or complex organisation
  • Experience delivering data platforms, reporting solutions or transformation / platform-based initiatives
