Your future, as a Software Developer at mydentist. The role is initially a 12-month fixed-term contract to support our tech transformation projects. Full-time hours - 37 hours over Monday - Friday. Hybrid working arrangements - 1 day a week onsite in our Support Centre in Kearsley (M26 1GG). Joining our supportive and growing data team. You will benefit from free onsite parking, and Kearsley train station is just a short walk away.

Your future, your role. As a Software Developer, you’ll be:
- Working closely with the internal development team and departments across the organisation to design, implement, and enhance web-based applications, predominantly the mydentist corporate website
- Integrating and customising Content Management Systems (CMS) to manage and deliver website content effectively
- Working closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration between server-side logic and user-facing interfaces
- Troubleshooting and resolving software defects efficiently, performing root-cause analysis where needed
- Contributing innovative ideas to improve application design, tooling, and performance
You will need:
- Proven experience in software development, ideally within a web or digital product environment
- Strong proficiency in C# and experience using Entity Framework
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (ideally Sitefinity) and integration into .NET web applications
- Experience deploying to or maintaining applications on cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
