Your future, as a Purchasing Assistant at mydentist. You’ll be joining our Procurement Department within our office called Support Centre, which is in Greater Manchester (M26 1GG). The role is permanent and full time with hybrid working arrangements - two days per week in the office.

Your role as a Purchasing Assistant includes:

  • Providing administrative support to the Procurement Team.
  • Maintaining and managing all tasks relating to Data Management on the Proactis Database.
  • Liaising with Practices, {my}dentist Clinical Team and Suppliers to maintain and update the supplier databases with site specific product data.
  • Supporting our practices with queries relating to our supply base through our centralised call logging and ticketing system and managing queries against internal service levels.
  • Monitoring and reduction of back orders by highlighting issues, raising and cancelling down orders to ensure practices have consistent availability of stock.
  • Liaising with the Category Buyers to ensure that all supplier, product and price data are correct and fall in line with contractually agreed terms.
