You will be joining our Clinical Team within this field-based role which will be Nationwide. The role is permanent and full-time with hybrid working arrangements, including travel to Practices and our Academy in central Manchester.

Your future, your role:
As a Clinical Director, you will be:
- Owning the process for clinical calls with candidates to ensure calls are thorough and consistent, contributing to a great candidate experience, and enabling appropriate selection and onboarding decisions.
- Owning delivery and driving continuous improvement of the clinical touchpoints in the onboarding process, enabling tailored induction, development and mentoring requirements to be identified and considered during a clinician's journey into mydentist.
- Partnering effectively with the Academy in the ongoing development of induction and paid-for course offerings.
- Providing leadership to Clinical Development Advisors aligned to the Academy.
- Leading the interface with Central Operations, providing clinical input to operational efficiency strategies and interventions including diary management, patient-first metrics, referrals, recalls and extended opening hours.
- Collaborating with Customer and Marketing leadership to support development and implementation of customer/patient communication strategies, AI call handling, online booking and events.
- Owning the curation and periodic review of clinical policies and procedures, engaging and coordinating with clinical colleagues to ensure they remain relevant, accessible and adhered to.
- Acting as an ambassador for mydentist internally and in the wider dental community.
Knowledge and Experience:
- General Dental Council (GDC) registration, and significant clinical practice experience in the UK is essential.
- Proven experience in a leadership role in a clinical environment.
- Extensive and demonstrable knowledge of statutory regulations relating to dentistry.
- Sound understanding of business and commercial environment and the need for effective management and controls.
