Overview
As Clinical Director (Clinical Operations) at mydentist, you will lead clinical onboarding processes, drive improvements across onboarding touchpoints, and shape how clinicians are integrated into the practice network. You will partner with the Academy to develop induction and training offerings and provide leadership to Clinical Development Advisors. You’ll influence operational efficiency, policy governance, and patient-focused communication in collaboration with central operations and marketing. - Salary 99,000–102,000 per year

Responsibilities
- Own the process for clinical candidate calls to ensure consistency and strong onboarding decisions
- Drive continuous improvement of onboarding touchpoints and tailored induction/mentoring
- Partner with the Academy on induction and paid-for course offerings
- Provide leadership to Clinical Development Advisors
- Lead interface with Central Operations for clinical input on efficiency strategies
- Collaborate with Customer and Marketing to support patient communication, AI call handling, online booking and events
- Curate and review clinical policies and procedures to keep them relevant and accessible
- Act as an ambassador for mydentist internally and in the wider dental community
Key requirements
- GDC registration and significant UK clinical practice experience
- Proven leadership in a clinical environment
- Extensive knowledge of statutory regulations relating to dentistry
- Sound understanding of business and commercial environment and the need for effective management and controls
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Highly collaborative and relationship-building
- Ability to keep skills and knowledge up to date
- Strong professional networking to drive business
