Your future, as a Data Governance Lead at mydentist. You'll be joining our IT team within our office called Support Centre, which is in Greater Manchester (M26 1GG). The role is a 12 month FTC with hybrid working arrangements - 1-2 days in the office (M26 1GG).

Your future, your role:
As a Data Governance Lead, you'll be:
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive data governance framework that supports mydentist's business strategy and regulatory compliance.
- Defining mydentist's vision for data governance and promoting a culture of data-driven decision-making.
- Responsible for developing a cutting edge data governance platform within mydentist and socialising it with colleagues at all levels.
- Assessing the current data governance landscape, adopting best practice in order to help mydentist achieve its goal of being a data mature business making data driven decisions.
- Ensuring alignment with data privacy laws, industry regulations, and internal security requirements.
Your skills:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in data governance, data management, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA, DCAM).
- Proficiency in tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica), understanding database systems and master/meta data management, and analysing data quality/compliance risks.
- Familiarity with data architecture, data modelling, and data quality tools.
- Strong communication with stakeholders from C-suite level and under.
