Myddelton College is a leading co-educational, day and boarding school with pupils aged 4-18. We are situated in the historic town of Denbigh in North Wales. The College has 37 acres of pitches, parkland and play areas and beautiful views across to the Clwydian hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and passionate part-time (0.6) Primary Teacher for a summer term start (April 20th). However, the role is likely to become full time from September.
- Contract: part-time 0.6
- Start date: 20th April, with consideration for a September start for the right applicant.
The successful candidate will teach a small, mixed age range Lower Key Stage 2 class of enthusiastic learners. We are a school proudly situated within Wales and are in the process of adjusting our Primary Curriculum to take on more aspects of the Curriculum for Wales. Experience within this curriculum would be desirable but is not essential. We are looking for an energetic and inspiring classroom practitioner with an active interest in pedagogical development and best teaching practices. We encourage teachers from all stages of their career to apply.
Myddelton College is totally committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening, as all new staff will be subject to enhanced DBS clearance, identity checks, qualification checks and employment checks to include an exploration of any gaps within employment, two satisfactory references and registration with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
