Mydas Recruitment are specialists in sourcing candidates to the manufacturing & engineering sectors. Our client, a leading manufacturing organisation, have a requirement for a graduate engineer to join their established team.
Candidates should have a degree or similar qualification in mechanical engineering, design engineering, or manufacturing engineering.
Candidates should have experience of:
- Placement experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Interpretation & evaluation of customer supplied drawings, CAD models, and Bills of Materials to assist with industrialisation/costing of projects.
- Creation/revision and testing of Numerical Control (NC) programs using AlphaCAM Advanced Router software to program 3-axis CNC router machines.
- Maintaining the Engineering Drawing Library and participating in the internal Engineering Update (ECN) process.
- Creation of GD&T drawings.
- Assisting in the accurate completion of aerospace traceability & airworthiness paperwork including First Article Inspection (FAI) reports and other related Quality activities.
- Use of Hexagon Absolute portable measuring arm & PC-DMIS software for dimensional-analysis/measurement reporting of manufactured parts (full training will be provided).
Contract rate pro rata to salary.
