About the Role

Are you passionate about the dairy industry and improving performance in the field? CRV is looking for an experienced and motivated individual to take on a Fixed-Term AB Supervisor role (approx. Sept – Dec) New Zealand wide, helping us deliver exceptional artificial breeding (AB) services to farmers across the country. As an AB Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for ensuring CRV’s AB services are delivered to the highest standard through effective technician supervision, quality checks, and operational support. You’ll play a key role in driving consistency, compliance, and continual improvement within our AB operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support AB Technicians, ensuring compliance with CRV’s service standards, health & safety requirements, and regulatory obligations.
  • Conduct regular seasonal quality checks and on-farm supervisions.
  • Be a key point of contact for technicians, providing support, coaching, and guidance.
  • Deliver Portabull system training and support for technicians and loaders.
  • Provide short-term emergency AB cover when required.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in the dairy industry, with in-depth knowledge and a proven track record providing AB services.
  • Experience in managing and supporting field-based teams.
  • Effective planning and organisational skills.
  • Confidence with IT systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A solid understanding of workplace health and safety practices.

Location

This is a national role and you must be available to travel across the whole of New Zealand.
