We are seeking a highly skilled and clinically experienced Clinical Application Specialist in Echocardiography with a specific focus on AI-powered analysis and reporting solutions. This role is critical in supporting the implementation, adoption, and optimisation of EchoConfidence, an echocardiography AI software that improves diagnostic accuracy, streamlines workflows, and enhances reporting efficiency.
You will work closely with clinical teams, providing expert-level training, technical support, and workflow consultation, ensuring seamless integration of AI solutions into daily clinical practice. Your deep understanding of echocardiographic imaging, combined with your ability to bridge the gap between technology and clinical application, will enable you to deliver significant value to our customers. Experience working as a Clinical Applications Specialist within Echocardiography is strongly desired.

Qualifications and skills required
- BSc in Clinical Physiology, Biomedical Sciences or equivalent with appropriate post BSc (or equivalent) experience
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer – Adult Transthoracic Echo Accreditation (BSE or EACVI equivalent), OR certification of Specialist training in Cardiac Echocardiography and Vascular Ultrasound (e.g Valid Cardiovascular Credentialing - Validation Certificate, The American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography® ARDMS®).
- Minimum 3 years of clinical echocardiography experience in a clinical setting, with proficiency in performing and interpreting echocardiography studies.
- Proven ability as a clinical educator to diverse healthcare professionals.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Desirable Experience and Skills
- Highly desirable is experience working as a Clinical Applications specialist within the Echocardiography space.
- Prior experience working with AI-driven clinical software, imaging informatics, or decision support tools.
- Familiarity with data integration and healthcare interoperability standards (DICOM, HL7, FHIR).
- Experience with cardiology PACS systems and electronic medical records (EMRs).
- Understanding of healthcare regulations including HIPAA, GDPR, and patient data security standards.
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced, technology-driven environments.
- Willingness to travel frequently including occasional international travel if required.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Training and Support: Deliver in-depth, hands-on training sessions for cardiologists, sonographers, and clinical staff on the effective use of EchoConfidence AI-powered echocardiography analysis and reporting software. Tailor training programs to the unique needs and workflow of each clinical site, ensuring users are confident in both the clinical and technical aspects of the software. Provide ongoing clinical support post-implementation, including refresher training, software updates, and advanced super user training.
- Workflow Integration and Optimisation: Analyse existing echocardiography workflows and collaborate with clinical teams to seamlessly integrate EchoConfidence into daily clinical or research practices. Recommend best practices by promoting and assisting in optimising image acquisition to better assist EchoConfidence to perform measurements with the best possible precision, reporting efficiency, and diagnostic consistency. Support customisation of reporting templates and ensure interoperability with hospital systems (PACS, EMR, cardiology information systems).
- Product Demonstration and Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with commercial teams to demonstrate the clinical and operational value of the software to prospective clients. Conduct detailed product presentations, live demonstrations, and clinical consultations to support the wider commercial teams and sales process. Serve as both a clinical subject and EchoConfidence expert in customer-facing engagements, conferences, and industry events.
- Customer Success and Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clinical and academic stakeholders. Act as the primary clinical contact for customer feedback, user experience improvement, and post-sale support. Proactively monitor software adoption and work to resolve any barriers to optimal use.
- Collaboration and Product Feedback: Work closely with product managers, AI engineers, and software developers to relay customer feedback, clinical requirements, and workflow improvement opportunities. Participate in usability testing, product validation, and the development of clinical support materials.
- Market and Clinical Intelligence: Stay current with the latest echocardiography techniques, AI advancements, clinical guidelines, and regulatory changes. Continuously develop clinical expertise and technical skills related to AI in cardiac imaging.
