Fractional GTM Engineer β Part-time Β· Remote

About the Role
Great products don't reach customers by accident.
Behind every high-performing commercial team is a layer of infrastructure β the systems, automations, integrations, and data architecture that makes everything else work.
In most companies, this either doesn't exist or was built poorly.
It's one of the most common reasons early-stage companies with great products grow more slowly than they should.
A GTM Engineer fixes that.
You sit at the intersection of technical and commercial β building the revenue infrastructure that lets the rest of the team operate at full speed.
You're not a sales person, and you're not a traditional software engineer.
You're the person who makes the machine work.
At my Candr, this is a founding commercial infrastructure role.
You'll be designing and building from scratch β with the opportunity to set up the systems the entire go-to-market team will rely on as we scale.
- What Youβll Build
- CRM architecture and integrations β ensuring our commercial data is clean, connected, and actionable from day one
- Sales automation and sequencing infrastructure β the systems that make outreach scalable without losing quality
- Marketing attribution and analytics β so we know what's working and can double down with confidence
- Demo and proof-of-concept environments β technical assets that accelerate the sales cycle
- The integration layer between our product and our commercial toolstack
- Operational playbooks and documentation so the commercial team can move fast without breaking things
- What Weβre Looking For
- Proven experience building GTM and revenue tech infrastructure, ideally in early-stage B2B Saa S
- Deep familiarity with CRM platforms (Hub Spot preferred), sales automation tools, and marketing stack integrations
- Technical enough to build integrations and automate workflows β you don't wait for an engineer to do it
- Commercial enough to understand what the sales and marketing teams actually need
- Experience setting up attribution models and reporting frameworks that leadership can trust
- Comfortable working fractionally across a small number of companies simultaneously
- You've been the person who builds the system others rely on β and you're proud of that
The infrastructure you build here will be the foundation of how my Candr reaches the market.
As a fractional hire, you'll have focused scope and real impact β without the overhead of a full-time commitment.
We're looking for someone who prefers depth over breadth and takes pride in building systems that just work.
