About the role
As a Registered Nurse, you'll provide safe, evidence-based and person-centred nursing care while working as part of our multidisciplinary residential care team.
Your day may include:
- Conducting clinical assessments and developing individualised care plans
- Administering medications and providing clinical treatments
- Wound management and monitoring residents' health
- Supporting residents living with dementia and palliative care needs
- Recognising and responding to changes in residents' conditions
- Coordinating care with families, GPs and allied health professionals
- Supporting and guiding ENs, PCWs and less experienced team members
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
- Contributing to quality improvement and positive clinical outcomes
Skills And Experiences
What we're looking for
We're looking for compassionate and capable Registered Nurses who bring:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, with no restrictions
- Bachelor of Nursing
- Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills
- Experience or an interest in residential aged care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to person-centred, evidence-based care
- A genuine passion for supporting older people to live with dignity and independence
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Satisfactory Police Check, or willingness to obtain
Experience in residential aged care, dementia or palliative care will be highly regarded.
