Description
The Role We’re looking for compassionate, reliable Personal Care Workers to join our friendly team to work across our two residential aged care homes at our Scarborough site, just metres from the water.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Deliver hands-on personal care with dignity and respect
- Support residents with daily living, meals, and meaningful connection
- Work as part of a close-knit care team
- Observe and report changes to support safe, quality care
- Maintain and encourage consumers’ independence, choice and decision making.
- Assist in the evaluation of consumers’ progress, recording and reporting changes to health, wellbeing and preferences to the Registered nurse.
- Understand and adhere to clinical procedures and the Aged Care Quality Standards to ensure each residents’ safety and well-being.
Skills And Experiences
What You’ll Bring:
- Availability to do afternoon and night shifts
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) – essential
- Aged care experience (highly regarded)
- Empathy, reliability, and a genuine passion for helping others
- Strong communication skills and physical capability for the role
Requirements:
- National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Proof of right to work in Australia
- COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations highly recommended
