About the role:
This is a full-time, hands-on maintenance role where you’ll be responsible for the upkeep and improvement of buildings, facilities, and shared spaces. From small repairs to larger maintenance tasks, you’ll play a key role in ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
What you’ll be doing:
- Carry out general maintenance and repairs (carpentry, minor electrical, plumbing, painting)
- Maintain buildings and shared spaces to a high standard
- Complete work orders and daily tasks in line with priorities
- Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles safely
- Respond to maintenance requests from residents and staff
- Support event setup and pack-down
- Identify and action improvement opportunities
- Follow all WHS requirements and safety practices
What we’re looking for:
You’re a reliable, skilled tradesperson (or experienced maintenance professional) who enjoys solving problems and getting things done. You’ll bring:
- A trade qualification (Carpentry or Electrical preferred)
- Proven experience in maintenance or facilities roles
- Strong problem-solving and practical skills
- A customer-focused approach—you’re approachable and respectful
- Ability to prioritise, adapt, and work independently
- A strong safety-first mindset
- Current driver’s licence (essential)
Role Requirements:
- Current driver’s licence
- Satisfactory police check (or willingness to obtain through BallyCara)
- Right to work in Australia
