Using our cloud-based software and amazing service, we support our customers in buying the lab consumables, equipment and services they need to do their life-changing research.
What you'll be doing:
- Be the friendly, knowledgeable first point of contact for our customers
- Support scientists at the cutting edge of biotech by helping them manage their time-sensitive and business-critical orders
- Coordinate with suppliers and customers to ensure a smooth, efficient order process
- Help turn challenges into opportunities to impress by delivering stellar support experiences
- Resolve escalations and complaints
- Work cross-functionally with our sourcing teams to give best in class end-to-end customer service
- Be flexible with your working hours depending on business needs. Shifts can vary and hours fall anywhere between 9am and midnight
What we're looking for:
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Problem-solving mindset and resourcefulness under pressure
- A curious, proactive, and positive attitude
- A real team player, ready to support your colleagues
- Experience in the biotech industry or a relevant degree (desirable)
- 2 years' experience in a customer service role (desirable)
- Experience working with international customers, particularly in the US or other global markets, is a plus
This is a hybrid role with 4 days a week on site after your training. Assessment day: Friday 30 October 2026 at our office in Hillington.
