The Role
To summarise, you will be responsible for growing the sales of the industrial division.
You will have a small team to manage. However, one of the first jobs will be recruiting another salesperson to take your internal and external team to six in total.
While the brand is synonymous with the automotive industry, it has a good list of industrial customers, and they know that with the right person on board, the growth potential will be excellent.
You will not be somebody who sells on price, though. The company has the potential to save industrial customers tens and even hundreds of thousands of pounds, so they do not take part in a race to the bottom.
You will be comfortable with consultative and solutions selling.
The industries you will be selling into are aerospace, manufacturing, hydraulics, marine, shipping, mining, and much more.
If you have the desire to target new customers, the company will provide you with the right product and infrastructure to succeed.
The company is based in Yorkshire, and as you will also be required to manage the internal sales team, it would be ideal if you live within a commutable distance, including North Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Greater Manchester, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire, Lancashire, and Humberside.
If you have sold into the industrial sector, have a desire to win new business, and work for a hugely admired and respected manufacturer, please apply and Stewart Lupton, JSL Solutions – Automotive Aftermarket Recruitment, will be in touch.
