As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll play a key role in servicing, repairing, and maintaining plant equipment to the highest standards. You’ll work with cutting-edge technology, including telematics systems, electric machinery, and pioneering hydrogen engines.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Service, repair, and maintain plant equipment to the manufacturers specifications, ensuring safety and reliability.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical, hydraulic, powertrain, and other faults, using diagnostic software (training provided).
- Report machine defects and upsell services, earning additional financial benefits.
- Maintain detailed service records via a tablet system.
- Collaborate closely with the service department, management, and parts teams.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety practices, including completing risk assessments.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualifications in engineering.
- Experience: Expertise in construction plant, diesel engines, electrics, hydraulics, and transmissions.
- Diagnostic Skills: Ability to fault-find using electronic equipment.
- Communication: Build strong relationships with customers and provide exceptional service.
- Professionalism: Present a professional image and maintain excellent time management.
- Driving Licence: Full UK licence required.
