We are looking for a Fundraising Trustee who is passionate about our mission and committed to making a meaningful impact. The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience, and qualities:
- Fundraising Experience: Proven experience in fundraising or developing fundraising strategies, ideally in the nonprofit sector. This includes knowledge of different fundraising streams such as grants, sponsorships, individual giving, and events.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and contribute to the long-term financial sustainability of MTICBIAI. You will help shape our fundraising approach and ensure it aligns with our organisational goals.
- Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with potential donors, corporate sponsors, and other stakeholders. You should be comfortable networking and advocating for our cause.
- Lived Experience or Understanding: While not essential, lived experience of mental health challenges, neurodivergence, or working with individuals facing similar struggles would be a strong asset. A deep empathy and understanding of the issues we address is key.
- Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion: A commitment to inclusivity and the values of diversity, empowerment, and resilience that guide our work. You should be an advocate for breaking stigma and promoting equality.
