Job Title: Creative Design Intern (6-Month Unpaid Internship)

My Thriving Child (www.mythrivingchild.co) is a small and rapidly growing company seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join us as a Creative Design Intern. This exciting internship opportunity offers hands-on experience in shaping the brand identity of our company. As a Brand Intern, you will play a vital role in creating a lasting impact on our brand while gaining valuable experience for your portfolio.
Location: Remote
Schedule: 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
Design:
- Utilize design programs to including Canva and Adobe to create compelling PDF documents, images and brand assets.
- Working to company brand guidelines whilst injecting your own creative abilities.
- Collaborate with the company Founder to maintain and enhance the visual aspects of our brand across various platforms.
- Video and website editing and design.
Creative Development:
- Demonstrate a strong creative flair and a keen eye for color, ensuring brand consistency in all design elements.
- Understand the target audience and adapt design strategies to connect with their preferences.
Website Design:
- Use website design tools to enhance the visual appeal of our online presence and ensure branding is seamless throughout (we currently use the Kajabi platform for our website).
- Ensure the website and all social platforms align with overall branding strategies.
Project Autonomy:
- Work independently on projects, demonstrating the ability to take ownership and run with creative ideas.
- Meet targets and deadlines efficiently, maintaining a high standard of work.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Report directly to the business owner, providing regular updates on project progress.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in branding or relevant qualification.
- Proficiency in design programs and website design tools.
- Strong creative instincts and an ability to understand audience preferences.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Confidence in running with creative ideas.
