We are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor on behalf of our client, a diversified multinational family-owned business with an annual turnover in excess of £4.5 billion.
Location: Northampton, NN5
Salary: £30,000 PA starting salary
Contract: Permanent, Full time - 44 hours per week
Working Hours: We have 2 positions available which would be for the following shifts:
- Monday - Friday, 07:00-15:45
- Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 - 19:45 (Sunday hours are 09:00 - 19:00)
In this role, you will support and assist the Warehouse Team Leader in achieving and exceeding all depot KPIs, targets, and objectives, while ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient working environment that delivers excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times.
- Maintain 98% stock availability through efficient systems and processes, delivering less than 10% ISOS.
- Ensure KPIs are in place and monitored for gap counts.
- Contribute towards achieving customer satisfaction targets and scores.
- Drive high standards of customer service and deliver a positive shopping experience.
- Act as an ambassador for the brand.
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are implemented and embedded within the team.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and legislation.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience within a warehouse or retail environment.
- Sound knowledge of warehouse product areas.
- Highly organised with excellent planning and prioritisation skills.
- Strong time management abilities.
- Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and customer satisfaction.
- Strong team-building skills with the ability to provide clear direction and confidently delegate tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong listening and interpersonal skills.
