Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a high‑quality, responsive social work service to adults and carers
- Provide effective managerial leadership, including supervision, appraisal, and performance management of staff
- Offer professional advice, guidance, consultation, and coaching to team members
- Manage day‑to‑day team operations, ensuring compliance with the Waiting Well Policy
- Safeguard adults with care and support needs in line with statutory duties and best practice
- Deputise for the Team Manager as required and contribute to service, policy, and practice development
- Lead, motivate, and support staff while working collaboratively with other assistant team managers
- Promote and embed strength‑based practice across the service
