Team Manager (Social Work) – Edge of Care Team in Glenfield, earning £43 – £45 per hour, is a locum role that promises a rewarding and impactful experience over a 3-month term. You will be leading a dedicated team comprising one senior practitioner, three social workers, and thirteen family intervention workers, although three are currently on long-term sick leave. This position requires being in the office three days a week, with the team based at County Hall.

What you will do:

  • Lead and manage the Families Together team effectively, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.

  • Work closely with the senior practitioner to oversee the supervision of family intervention workers.
  • Ensure that the team adheres to policies, procedures, and statutory frameworks.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and stakeholders to provide comprehensive support to families.
