Responsibilities

  • Manage the provision of family safeguarding social work services, including Child Protection, Children in Need, and Court processes, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements and departmental policies.
  • Provide a high-quality social work service to children in need and their families, including those requiring protection, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Oversee and support a dedicated team of social workers, guiding them to deliver excellent social care services.
  • Evaluate and supervise social work practices to ensure the delivery of effective and efficient services.

Requirements

  • A recognised qualification in social work, such as CQSW, DIPSW, or BA HONS SW, or an equivalent.
