What You Will Do
- Provide effective leadership, management, and supervision to social workers and social care assessors across the peripatetic team.
- Oversee casework, ensuring strengths‑based assessments and personalised support planning in line with the Care Act 2014.
- Manage staff performance, monitor workloads, oversee annual leave and sickness, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Lead safeguarding responses, ensuring timely and compliant action in line with legislation and Trafford’s local policies.
- Work collaboratively with multi‑disciplinary partners to deliver coordinated and high‑quality support to adults with varied care needs.
- Uphold and promote the principles of the Mental Capacity Act 2005, advocating for residents’ independence, autonomy, and rights.
About You
- You are a qualified Social Worker with active registration with Social Work England.
- You bring strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
