  • Perform assessments and develop robust plans for children and families in need, raising the standard of care and ensuring consistent service delivery across the borough.
  • Undertake section 47 enquiries, complete child and family assessments, and manage a diverse caseload of children supported through child in need planning.
  • Build strong relational partnerships with families, supporting the safe step-down of plans in line with families’ needs and timelines.
  • Coach, support, and supervise staff or student social workers, championing their professional development and growth.
  • Collaborate with fellow social workers and teams to enhance the overall service for children and families.
