Join us in an exciting role as an Advanced Practitioner (Social Work) in the Locality Team within the vibrant Bradford Children and Families Trust. This locum position offers a fantastic rate of £37 per hour on a full-time basis for a period of 3 months. You will be working in the highly supportive Keighley and Shipley Team 1 and 2, surrounded by a team dedicated to making a positive impact in the community.

The role includes hybrid working; however, there will be times when you are expected to be in the office for specific tasks or team days, as defined by the needs of the service.

What you will do:

  • Undertake comprehensive assessments of children and families to develop tailored plans that best meet their needs.
  • Provide high-quality support and intervention services to children, young people, and their families in accordance with legal requirements and best practice standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, partners, and external agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to service delivery.
  • Supervise and support the professional development of less experienced social work staff.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in line with local authority requirements.
