What You Will Do

Work closely with the Team Manager to manage a dedicated community team.
Provide professional support to the team, ensuring efficient coordination and deployment of resources.
Oversee a caseload of complex cases, ensuring care is provided according to statutory responsibilities and team objectives.
Develop effective systems to screen referrals against eligibility criteria.
Collaborate with partners to address referrals creatively using available resources.
Prioritise and delegate tasks to appropriate team members based on service requirements.
Effectively manage budgets to align with service priorities while communicating strategies to the team.
Ensure consistent review and evaluation of Support Plans and adapt as necessary to meet changing needs.
Implement and maintain systematic approaches to assessing, planning, and reviewing health needs in compliance with established guidelines.

Requirements of the Team Manager

To shine in this role, you should possess a Degree or its equivalent in social work, hold a current Social Work England registration, and have recent managerial experience, ideally as a Team Manager, DTM or ATM. Demonstrable frontline experience in Adults Services is essential to guide your team effectively.
