Nursery Cleaner & Housekeeper
Shooting Stars Nurseries - Tettenhall, Wolverhampton WV3 9PE
25 hours per week | Monday-Friday | Approx. 2:00pm-7:00pm
All Year Round (Closed Bank Holidays)
National Minimum Wage (Age Dependent)
We are looking for a reliable and expereinced Nursery Cleaner & Housekeeper to join our friendly team at Shooting Stars Tettenhall.
This important role helps maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for children, families and staff. The position includes supporting the nursery kitchen with pot wash and washing up duties before carrying out cleaning and housekeeping responsibilities throughout the nursery.
What You'll Be Doing
- Pot wash, washing up and kitchen cleaning
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursery
- Cleaning nursery rooms, offices, corridors, toilets and staff areas
- Laundry and general housekeeping duties
- Supporting infection control and health & safety procedures
- Safe use and storage of cleaning equipment and materials
What We're Looking For
Previous commercial cleaning experience is essential.
Ideally, you'll have experience in a:
- Nursery
- School
- Care home
- Hospital or healthcare setting
- Catering or hospitality environment
You'll also be:
- Reliable, trustworthy and self-motivated
- Able to work independently and manage your time effectively
- Detail-focused with high cleaning standards
- Knowledgeable about hygiene and infection control
Previous kitchen assistant experience would be advantageous.
