Job Description Early Years Room Leader (Level 3 Childcare) - Pre Toddler Room Shooting Stars Nurseries - Bromsgrove, B61 0AE

£15.30 per hour (£31,824 per annum) Full Time, Permanent, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, all-year-round nursery, closed on Bank Holidays.

Are you an experienced Room Leader, Senior Nursery Practitioner or Level 3 Early Years Educator looking for your next opportunity? At Shooting Stars Nurseries Bromsgrove, we're looking for a passionate and motivated Early Years Room Leader to join our leadership team and take responsibility for our well-established Pre-Toddler Room. This is an excellent opportunity to lead your own room, coach and develop a team of practitioners, and play a key role in delivering exceptional childcare and early education within a supportive, high-quality nursery setting. What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the Pre-Toddler Room.
  • Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where children thrive.
  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of practitioners, apprentices and students.
  • Act as a Key Person and build strong, positive relationships with families.
  • Plan and oversee engaging activities in line with the EYFS.
  • Support children's learning, development and wellbeing.
  • Promote inclusive practice and support children with additional needs.
  • Maintain outstanding safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare standards.
  • Drive quality improvement and support nursery inspection readiness.

What We're Looking For

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
  • Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
  • Experience as a Room Leader, Senior Nursery Practitioner, Third in Charge or similar leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.
  • Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
