Shooting Stars Nursery in Hinckley is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join our experienced team. What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting children's development, wellbeing and learning through meaningful play experiences and everyday interactions.
- Contributing to a caring and stimulating environment that helps every child feel confident, secure and ready to explore.
- Acting as a key worker for a group of children.
- Supporting children's individual learning and development needs.
- Delivering engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Maintaining a safe, welcoming and inclusive learning environment.
- Building positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues.
- Completing observations and contributing to children's learning records.
- Encouraging children's independence, confidence and social development.
- Following nursery policies relating to safeguarding, health and safety and wellbeing.
About You
We would welcome applications from candidates who have:
- A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 2 applicants may also be considered).
- Experience working within a nursery, preschool or other early years setting.
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
- Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and best practice.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A warm, caring and professional approach to supporting young children.
