Due to company growth, we have an immediate opportunity for a driven Quality Manager to join our client’s HSEQ team. You will take the lead in driving excellence across their business. The successful candidate will thrive on improving systems, motivating teams and ensuring processes and products meet the highest standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own and develop the Integrated Management System (IMS) to meet ISO 9001/14001/45001, CMS, FORS, End of Waste and other standards.
  • Lead internal and external audits, ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively.
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement across the business.
  • Be the go‑to expert for quality – working with teams, customers and suppliers to maintain compliance and drive excellence.
  • Train, mentor and inspire colleagues to follow best practices and maintain robust systems.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in a Quality Systems role ideally within waste management, transportation, quarry and mining.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards, environmental legislation and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills – you can challenge, influence, and motivate at all levels.
  • Analytical, detail‑oriented, and proactive with a “can‑do” attitude.
  • Degree-qualified ideally, IT‑literate, and full, clean driving licence.
  • Bonus points if you have CMS, End of Waste or FORS knowledge.
  • Membership of a professional body in quality or compliance.

You’ll play a key role in keeping our business ahead of the curve, working in a dynamic, supportive team environment where your expertise makes a real difference.

Location: Liverpool.

Salary: Up to ÂŁ40,000.00 per year.
