My Product Path are recruiting on behalf of a global Electronics organisation for a Tier 1 Infrastructure Engineer on a permanent basis. As a Tier 1 Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting on-premise infrastructure for our clients, with a focus on our end user devices such as computers and mobile devices. As this is a customer-facing role, strong communication skills are essential.
- Support on-premise infrastructure, including switches, wireless networks, Windows Server roles (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP).
- Maintain and support our end user infrastructure, including computers, mobile devices, printers, meeting room equipment.
- Support backup and disaster recovery solutions, primarily using Veeam.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of the infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
- Ensure security best practices are implemented across on-premise environments in line with our security and vulnerability policies.
- Providing BAU support for the businesses and leveraging the senior engineers as an escalation point.
- You hold the members of your team to high standards while ensuring they have the support that they need to reach those lofty goals.
