What you’ll need to succeed?
- Passion and dedication to providing world‑class care to children
- To hold a full and relevant early years qualification of Level 3 or above
- Prior experience of looking after children from 3 months to 5 years
- Prior experience as a Room Leader in a nursery setting
- Strong communication skills and a team player
What you will be asked to do:
- You are responsible for the day‑to‑day management of your own room, encouraging good practice and being a good role‑model
- Provide the best experience for all children with safety and their well‑being at the centre of focus
- Promote positive working relationships with the parents and colleagues within your room
- You are responsible for supporting your colleagues in ensuring that they are completing planning, milestones and observations to the highest standards
- Drive a fun, action‑packed day of activities, following the EYFS framework
- Provide an enhanced and positive mealtime experience
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment
