Then My Ohana has the perfect role for you! We run the IKEA Crèches across the UK & Ireland, and we're looking for part-time Crèche Practitioners to join our brilliant team.

The Role at a Glance

  • Role: Early Years Practitioner
  • Hours: 21 hours per week (including weekends)
  • Location: IKEA Southampton
  • Salary: £13.78 an hour

A Day in Your Shoes

  • Engaging children in fun, educational play through a variety of exciting activities
  • Supporting the Manager in planning and delivering our activity programme
  • Communicating professionally and warmly with colleagues, clients and parents
  • Managing the safe entry and exit of children
  • Stepping up as a Key Worker when required

What You'll Need to Shine

  • Experience working with children aged 3 to 11 years
  • A minimum Level 3 childcare qualification, or Playworker Level 3 (pre-2014)
  • Creative flair to contribute to activity planning
  • Great communication skills with children and parents alikeA true team player attitude
  • The confidence to step up into a supervisory role when needed
