£45,000 – £50,000 depending on experience

GT Vans is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our workshop team near Bath / Bristol.

We specialise in Ford commercial vehicles, particularly Transit & Transit Custom vans, so this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working on vans and wants a busy, varied workshop role.

£45,000 – £50,000
Monday – Friday
NO WEEKENDS
42.5 hours per week + Overtime double pay offer (not mandatory)
Predominantly Ford commercial vehicles
Busy, varied workshop environment
Long-term opportunity within a growing business

The role includes:

Servicing & maintenance
Ford 2.0 EcoBlue wet belt replacements
Timing belts
Clutches & flywheels
Brakes, suspension & steering
Mechanical & electrical diagnostics
General repairs & fault finding
MOT preparation & rectification
Pre-sale vehicle inspections

We're looking for someone who:

Has solid professional workshop experience
Can work independently
Has strong diagnostic & mechanical ability
Has experience with Ford Transit / Transit Custom
Can confidently carry out 2.0 EcoBlue wet belt replacements
Takes pride in their workmanship
