WE'RE HIRING – EXPERIENCED VEHICLE TECHNICIAN / MECHANIC £45,000 – £50,000 depending on experience GT Vans is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our workshop team near Bath / Bristol. We specialise in Ford commercial vehicles, particularly Transit & Transit Custom vans, so this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working on vans and wants a busy, varied workshop role. * £45,000 – £50,000 * Monday – Friday * NO WEEKENDS * 42.5 hours per week + Overtime double pay offer (not mandatory) * Predominantly Ford commercial vehicles * Busy, varied workshop environment * Long-term opportunity within a growing business The role includes: * Servicing & maintenance * Ford 2.0 EcoBlue wet belt replacements * Timing belts * Clutches & flywheels * Brakes, suspension & steering * Mechanical & electrical diagnostics * General repairs & fault finding * MOT preparation & rectification * Pre-sale vehicle inspections We're looking for someone who: ✅ Has solid professional workshop experience ✅ Can work independently ✅ Has strong diagnostic & mechanical ability ✅ Has experience with Ford Transit / Transit Custom ✅ Can confidently carry out 2.0 EcoBlue wet belt replacements ✅ Takes pride in their workmanship If you're an experienced technician looking for a well-paid Monday–Friday role with no weekend working, we'd like to hear from you.
